In this position you will collaborate directly with a team of experienced professionals on sales and marketing projects undertaken to grow the company.

Job Summary

The Business Analyst plays a critical role in driving strategic sales and marketing initiatives through data-driven analysis, project leadership, and cross-functional coordination. This position partners closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Executive Leadership to translate business objectives into actionable insights, forecasts, and execution plans.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Business Analyst tracks and communicates key sales and marketing initiatives, ensuring projects remain aligned with business goals and performance expectations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Analysis & Business Support

  • Analyze sales performance, customer trends, and market data to identify risks and opportunities
  • Perform P&L analysis to support pricing, product planning, and strategic decision-making
  • Develop and maintain sales, inventory, licensing, and financial forecasts
  • Create and present monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reporting for leadership

Project & Initiative Management

  • Track and report on key sales and marketing initiatives from concept through execution
  • Define project objectives, scope, requirements, timelines, and success metrics
  • Ensure initiatives remain aligned with broader business strategy
  • Track progress and outcomes, while outlining any potential risks, providing clear updates to stakeholders

Forecasting & Planning

  • Compile and analyze customer-level and license-level performance reports
  • Develop inventory forecasts in coordination with sales plans and demand trends
  • Support quarterly and annual budget planning
  • Identify variances versus plan and recommend corrective actions

Market & Growth Insights

  • Research market trends, competitive activity, and new growth opportunities
  • Evaluate new marketing methods, partners, and channels
  • Translate external market data into practical business recommendations

Data, Systems & Process Support

  • Improve reporting processes, data accuracy, and analytical workflows
  • Leverage tools such as Excel, Power BI, and either MS Access or SQL to deliver scalable insights

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in business analysis, sales analytics, marketing analytics, or related roles
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, and either MS Access or SQL
  • Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives
  • Experience supporting sales teams and presenting insights and recommendations to senior leadership

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
