Business Analyst

Job Overview
We’re looking for a technical Business Analyst with banking or credit union experience to help support and improve core financial systems. This role sits at the intersection of business operations, technical troubleshooting, and system optimization, working closely with stakeholders and engineering teams. You’ll help analyze system issues, support production environments, and translate operational needs into technical solutions.

Duties

• Gather and document business and system requirements for internal tools and banking platforms
• Troubleshoot application issues using SQL queries, logs, and debugging techniques
• Support and maintain systems related to Symitar / Jack Henry core banking platforms
• Assist with application installations, system configurations, and server maintenance
• Manage data exchanges and file transfers via FTP
• Work with JSON data structures, HTML, and JavaScript in system integrations
• Automate operational tasks using batch scripting
• Provide remote troubleshooting support using remote support tools
• Track and resolve issues through ticketing systems

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or Technical Support role
• Background in banking, credit unions, or financial services
• Hands-on experience with Symitar / Jack Henry
• Strong working knowledge of SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and JSON
• Experience with FTP, ticket tracking systems, and remote support tools
• Ability to troubleshoot software issues and analyze system behavior
