POSITION SUMMARY: The Business Analyst (BA) will partner with key stakeholders and business users in one or more lines of the business to identify gaps in current technologies, opportunities for digital transformation, and process improvements that align with business goals. The BA is responsible for bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions. As such, the BA will also be responsible for facilitating collaboration sessions, gathering requirements, and discovering ways to remove roadblocks, supporting all aspects of the SDLC, and acting as the administrator for new and current technologies.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word May.)
Engage with business partners across one or more lines of business to understand vision and overall business strategies.
Proactively lead requirement gathering sessions and workshops with stakeholders to elicit and define business needs, document current processes, understand limitations, and establish clear success criteria.
Translate business requirements and acceptance criteria into technical documentation, including but not limited to, mapping functional specifications, process flow charts, test plans, and Requirement Traceability Matrices (RTM) and others.
Facilitate collaboration sessions with stakeholders and colleagues throughout the project life cycle to ensure priorities are aligned, roadblocks are resolved, and communication gaps are bridged.
Coordinate and engage business partners in user-acceptance testing (UAT), including test case scenarios, environment stabilization, and documentation of results and success criteria.
Collaborate with other Business Analysts, Systems Analysts, and Data Engineers to evaluate technical feasibility, recommend configurations, coordinate user acceptance testing, and recommend project milestones and timelines.
Drives continuous improvement by analyzing user feedback, monitoring KPIs and adoption metrics, identifying enhancements, and supporting change management to maximize business value
Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
Successfully passes all applicable general pre-employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment fit tests, pre-employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s).
Valid U.S. Driver’s License required. Employment is contingent upon meeting the company's driving standards, including an acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) in accordance with Company policy.
Daily in-person, predictable attendance.
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.
Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
Bachelor’s degree in business administration or management, business analytics, information technology, information systems, or related fields required. An equivalent combination of education, specialized training, and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a corporate business environment or similar role with a focus on business analytics and technology solutions.
Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working with enterprise platforms, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Atlassian Jira, SQL Database (Oracle), Power BI, Sigma or Grafana reporting solutions.
Proven experience with Agile framework (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and product development lifecycle.
A track record as a Business Analyst or doing business analytics across multiple business lines, with a history of delivering high-impact technology solutions and digital transformations.
May be required to perform or learn some technical functions at a modest to reasonable level.
Familiarity with Microsoft Azure Services (preferred).
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES
Agile certifications (Scrum Master Certified, Certified Scrum Product Owner, SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager).
Business Analysis certifications (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA).
Process Improvements certifications (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt).
BI/Analytics certifications (PL-300: Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst, Oracle OTBI).

Frequently required to walk, sit, climb, bend, reach, and squat/kneel. A Business Analyst works primarily indoors and will be sitting for prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities. A Business Analyst may be required to lift heavy objects; therefore, a Business Analyst must be able to lift 25lbs.
Work hours may include early mornings, late afternoons/evenings, and weekends, depending on job demands.
