Business Analyst (IT / Consulting)Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support ongoing enterprise-level IT initiatives. This role will focus on bridging business needs with technical execution by working closely with internal teams and external partners.

Our environment includes customized solutions built on platforms such as Salesforce and AWS, supporting a large-scale client. The selected candidate will collaborate with experienced team members and contribute to continuous system enhancement and optimization.

This position is primarily structured as a full-time consulting role rather than short-term staffing. The client engagement is based in Bellevue, WA.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business needs into structured documentation such as BRDs and user stories
• Act as a communication bridge between stakeholders, product owners, and development teams
• Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and key business users
• Support user adoption through training sessions, documentation, and ongoing user support
• Work closely with engineering and QA teams to ensure accurate understanding of requirements
• Analyze business processes and identify areas for improvement and optimization
• Participate in backlog refinement and prioritization aligned with business objectives
• Prepare and track project-related reports including sprint progress and performance metrics
• Ensure alignment with internal standards, methodologies, and best practices
• Facilitate discussions to clarify complex requirements and drive decision-making

Basic Qualifications

• Experience working as a Business Analyst, preferably within IT or technology-driven environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Ability to manage tasks independently while collaborating within a team setting
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Adaptable mindset with willingness to learn and grow in a consulting environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Jira or similar project management tools
• Exposure to Salesforce environments (highly preferred but not required)
• Basic knowledge of SQL for data analysis or reporting
• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Salesforce Business Analyst

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
