Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Business Analyst to join our team! In this role you will provide strategic and analytical support to drive development and implementation of new departmental work processes and facilitate effective change management.
What You'll Be Doing:

Developing tools and processes to enable data-driven decision-making in support of core program objectives

Analyzing opportunities for efficiency improvements and cost savings through maintenance process enhancements, including improved resource allocation, risk mitigation, and coordination between capital and maintenance organizations

Analyzing available data and developing management reports to support effective planning and informed decision-making
-
Preparing quarterly executive and board-level updates on maintenance initiatives and programs to ensure transparency and accountability against the annual plan

Supporting Project Managers in developing cost-benefit analyses for new projects and in assessing cost and schedule impacts associated with potential project changes or change orders
What Required Skills You'll Bring:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, information management, construction management, public administration, or a related field and 5+ years of related experience

In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of professional experience can be substituted for the degree requirement; experience must progressively demonstrate applicable expertise in quantitative analysis, analytical problem solving, metrics development, and business strategy implementation required to expertly perform the SOW requirements

Demonstrated experience with business process improvement, change management, and forecasting

Demonstrated expertise working with databases and operational or technical systems such as Maximo Inventory Management System and Excel-based inventory and maintenance data, including corrective and preventive maintenance schedules and procedures

Demonstrated experience developing and analyzing data to support technical operational system improvements

Demonstrable experience using Microsoft 365 applications, including SharePoint, for analysis, documentation, and presentations
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

Master’s degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field

Experience supporting communications and signaling or similar technical/operational environments

Experience preparing executive and board-level reports and presentations for maintenance or technical programs

Strong stakeholder engagement skills to facilitate coordination between capital project and maintenance organizations
