Position Summary

Stran and Company, Inc. is seeking a resolute and meticulous Business Analyst. This is a full-time exempt position. In this role you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data while facilitating the communication between stakeholders to ensure that business needs are understood and met.

Reporting: This position will report to the Chief Financial Officer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities in this role:

• Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and annual reports from various systems to support all departments within the organization, including sales, budgeting, and inventory reporting.
• Create, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards to support data-driven decision-making across departments, including sales, operations and marketing.
• Work closely with the finance team to analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can inform business decisions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity for accurate analysis.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements. Make suggestions to implement those changes.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to understand and document business objectives, processes, and requirements.

Desired Skill set:

• Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
• 0-3 years of experience in business analysis.
• Strong Excel knowledge, including VLOOKUP, conditional formatting, Pivot tables, Chart and Dashboard creation.
• NetSuite experience (or other ERP) preferred.
• Strong understanding of data modeling in Power BI, including defining table relationships, cardinality, and data structure design.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Compensation:

• As a full time exempt worker, Stran will provide an annual base salary between $55,000-$65,000, depending on experience. All checks are paid on a bi-weekly basis.

Benefits: Stran offers (3) Aetna PPO health insurance plans. The first of the month after working 30 continuous days of full-time employment, you will be able to enroll in medical, dental, and vision insurance. The Company contributes 65% of the monthly premium for the medical plan and 35% to the dental and vision insurance if you choose to participate. The Company offers Voluntary Life, Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Accident and Critical Illness insurance that are extended to cover spouses and Children. There are several employer paid insurances; short term disability, life Insurance and accidental death & dismemberment that start first of the month after working 30 continuous days of full time employment. Stran offers a Section 125 Flexible Spending Account and elective participation in our long-term disability program. The first of the month, after 90 days of employment, you are eligible to participate in the 401K retirement savings plan and the Flexible Spending Account (FSA). Stran provides a company match of 3% of your annual compensation up to the legal maximum for you retirement savings. The Company has adopted an unlimited vacation policy that encompasses vacation, personal, and sick days. You must receive approval and give at least two weeks’ notice prior to taking time off whenever possible. Stran offers a generous holiday schedule each year; for 2026 there are 11 company paid holidays.
