Must Have Technical/Functional Skill
- Basic understanding of healthcare business processes such as:
- Enrollment, Membership, Billing, Claims, or Benefits
- Ability to read and understand system data (basic SQL knowledge preferred, not mandatory)
- Familiarity with healthcare data concepts (members, plans, premiums, benefits)
- Basic knowledge of system integrations or file-based data exchange
- Business requirement documents (BRD)
- Functional requirement documents (FRD)
- Simple data mapping or field definitions
- Exposure to testing or UAT support (test cases, validation, defect reviews)
- Basic understanding of HIPAA-compliant environments (conceptual awareness only)
Roles & Responsibilities
- Support senior analysts and project managers in gathering and documenting business requirements
- Participate in discussions with business and IT teams to:
Understand current processes
Note gaps or clarifications
Requirement documents
Process flows
Simple data mapping sheets
- Assist with system testing and UAT activities, including:
Reviewing test cases
Validating expected vs actual results
Logging and tracking issues
- Coordinate with developers, testers, and operations teams to:
Clarify requirements
Answer functional questions
- Help review data outputs, reports, or extracts for basic accuracy and completeness
- Follow defined processes and standards without owning core design decisions
Salary Range: $100,000-$120,000 a year
