The Business Analyst is responsible for analyzing business needs, gathering and documenting requirements, and supporting the delivery of effective solutions. This role serves as a critical link between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that project outcomes align with organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Conduct stakeholder meetings, workshops, and interviews to understand business needs
- Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
- Collaborate with solution architects and technical teams to support solution design
- Ensure alignment of solutions with business goals and requirements
- Work closely with developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the project lifecycle
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case preparation and validation
- Identify areas for process improvement and recommend practical solutions
- Maintain comprehensive documentation such as:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
- Process flows and diagrams
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3–6 years of proven experience as a Business Analyst
- Strong understanding of business analysis frameworks, methodologies, and tools
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall environments
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile certifications (preferred)
