Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (Level 3) to support enterprise-level system modernization and application enhancement initiatives. This role requires strong collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams, along with deep experience in business analysis, data analysis, and process improvement within large, complex environments.

Experience Level

• 8+ years of professional experience

• Works independently on complex assignments

• Uses experience and judgment to plan and execute tasks

• Demonstrates a high degree of creativity and decision-making latitude

• Minimum 5 years acting as a liaison between business users and IT teams (Architecture, Development, Application Support, etc.)

• Strong background in data analysis and requirements gathering

• Project management experience (PMP preferred) is a strong plus

Key Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs

• Translate business requirements into functional and system requirements

• Ensure system solutions align with overall business strategies

• Perform business process analysis and reengineering

• Identify opportunities to apply technology to improve business efficiency

• Create business process maps, workflows, and supporting documentation

• Develop solution options, risk assessments, and financial analyses (cost/benefit, ROI, buy vs. build)

• Write detailed documentation outlining user needs, system functionality, and development steps

• Support project and product oversight for system modernization and enhancement efforts

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, business users, and external vendors

• Assist with creating, maintaining, and improving project processes and documentation

Work Environment

• Agile delivery environment (SAFe preferred)

• Large-scale enterprise system modernization initiatives

• Ongoing application enhancement and integration projects

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience analyzing business systems and user needs

• Proven experience with business process improvement and reengineering

• Strong ability to align technology solutions with business objectives

• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years experience working in an Agile / SAFe environment

• Experience supporting large, complex enterprise systems

• Background in healthcare, public-sector, or regulated environments

• Project management experience or PMP certification
