Hybrid - On Site and Telework (Must live in Austin TX area)
I. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES
Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Experienced with business process reengineering and identifying new applications of technology to business problems to make business more effective. Familiar with industry standard business process mapping, and reengineering. Prepares solution options, risk identification, and financial analyses such as cost/benefit, ROI, buy/build, etc. Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in digital transformation and business process reengineering. A Business Analyst in this context is expected to have expertise in Business Process Reengineering (BPR), analyzing, redesigning, and optimizing complex business processes to improve efficiency, effectiveness, and customer satisfaction. This position serves to align business strategy with operational execution by analyzing current operations, identifying improvement opportunities, and designing new processes.
Collaboration with IT, operations, and product teams is required to support the implementation and adoption of updated workflows. Proficiency in analytical, communication, and change management skills is necessary to support organizational change initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in business architecture, a proven track record in large-scale digital change, and an intimate understanding of the MITA framework.

This position is Hybrid - On Site and Telework. Program will only allow candidates who are LOCAL TO THE AUSTIN AREA (Within 50-mile radius).
Position will be 3 days remote with 2 days (Mondays, Thursdays) required to be on-site Austin, TX 78751.
Normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, excluding State holidays when the agency is closed. The worker may be required to work outside the normal business hours on weekends, evenings and holidays, as requested.
