We are inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst, Analytics Team!
This role supports the Analytics Enablement team in delivering strategic insights and data-driven solutions. As part of the broader Analytics organization, Customer Analytics drives scalable practices that foster customer-centric innovation across brand and CPG/Retail initiatives.
Work location: Bangalore
Responsibilities:
Implementing Analytics for business decision support and deep understanding in statistical/machine learning models like regression (linear, non-linear, mixed models and Bayesian models),
Clear understanding of statistical concepts
Excellent data interpretation skills.
Should having knowledge of market research & any specific knowledge on retail and FMCG/CPG industry be an added advantage
Knowledge of Customer/Shopper level data will be an added advantage
Experience in using charting/reporting.
Good hands-on experience in Python/R, SQL, visualization tools (Power BI or Tableau), MS Excel, MS-power point (for delivering insights and results)
Ability to handle various data sources (format – structured and unstructured; volume – sparse and large), using data modeling to develop reporting capabilities and valuable insights across these data sources is key.
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ownership of tasks assigned without supervisory follow-up
Proactive planner and can work independently to manage own responsibilities
Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- Master’s or bachelor’s - Masters in Statistics/Mathematics/B-Tech
Preferred Qualification : Data analytics Knowledge Retail/CPG/FMCG/ General Merchandise.
Technical skills: SQL, Python, R , Power BI and MS Office.
