Business Analyst - Business Excellence Partner

About the Role

Act as the vital link between business units and the software development team at Abou Ghaly Motors.

This role is pivotal in translating operational challenges into structured solutions through process improvements, automation initiatives, and technology enhancements.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in stakeholder management, process mapping, and requirements gathering, and will be responsible for shaping and prioritizing development roadmaps based on business needs.

You’ll work directly with leadership and have the autonomy to make a visible impact. Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary liaison between internal business units (e.g. Sales, After Sales, Operations, HR) and the development team.
  • Conduct deep-dives, discovery sessions, and workflow reviews with departments to capture pain points and opportunities.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed documentation, including user stories, process flows, and functional specs.
  • Work closely with the tech team to design automation plans or digital tools to solve inefficiencies.
  • Prioritize and maintain a central backlog of internal development requests, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Follow up on task execution and provide feedback loops to ensure business satisfaction and transparency.
  • Assist in change management and user adoption planning for new tools or updated processes.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and optimization across departments.
  • Support the creation of internal dashboards, reports, and OKRs tracking progress against transformation goals.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business analysis, particularly in complex or fragmented tech environments.
  • Strong expertise in process mapping, system documentation, and integration analysis.
  • Experience working with technical teams and understanding APIs, data models, and infrastructure (without needing to code).
  • Highly organized, analytical, and proactive problem-solver.
  • Passion for digital innovation and internal service excellence.
  • Ability to translate "tribal knowledge" into structured documentation.
  • Strong facilitation skills for cross-functional workshops.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills (English essential, [Arabic preferred if local]).
