Inviting applications for the role of Business Analyst, Demand Forecasting
In this role, you need to Drive end-to-end demand forecasting within the supply chain function to enhance forecast accuracy, optimize inventory, and support strategic decision-making. Leverage advanced analytics and cross-functional collaboration to deliver actionable insights for S&OP and business planning.
Responsibilities
Own and optimize statistical forecasting models; continuously refine algorithms to improve accuracy.
Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain to capture demand drivers and market intelligence.
Analyze historical data, seasonality, market trends, and promotional impacts to build robust forecasts.
Generate consensus demand plans for S&OP cycles, ensuring alignment across stakeholders.
Integrate external data sources (economic indicators, competitor trends) for predictive accuracy.
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) for significant forecast deviations and implementcorrective actions.
Develop automated dashboards and KPI metrics for forecast performance monitoring.
Support deployment and integration of advanced forecasting tools (AI/ML-based solutions) into planning systems.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, statistical forecasting tools, and scenario modeling.
Hands-on experience with planning systems (SAP IBP/APO, Oracle Demantra, Kinaxis Rapid Response).
Strong understanding of statistical models (regression, exponential smoothing, ARIMA).
Familiarity with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) for reporting and insights
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Certification in Demand Planning, Supply Chain Analytics, or APICS CPIM.
Exposure to machine learning techniques for demand prediction is a plus.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong business acumen and ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
Clear communication and stakeholder management for cross-functional alignment.
