Position Overview
Francison Consulting, Inc. is seeking a detail oriented and analytical Business Analyst I to support our client, the Los Angeles Community College District LACCD, within a dynamic project management environment. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, system integration, and ensuring compliance across accounting and bond related activities supporting one of the largest community college districts in the nation.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as subject matter expert for department systems, including integration and implementation efforts
- Reconcile financial accounts and identify discrepancies, ensuring timely resolution
- Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analysis
- Manage accruals, journal entries, and financial documentation processes
- Review and approve invoices in accordance with accounting procedures
- Maintain vendor records and supporting documentation for payments
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams on financial and project related matters
- Support contractor payment analysis and reporting
- Ensure compliance with bond related financial requirements
- Partner with accounting and cross functional teams to support project execution
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline
- Experience working with enterprise business or accounting systems
- Experience analyzing historical data and trends
- Experience preparing and analyzing monthly financial reports
- Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Strong communication and presentation skills across all levels
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to lead projects through to completion
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with bond funded programs
- Experience in construction related programs
- Familiarity with Costpoint or Proliance systems

Pay: $83,000.00 - $88,000.00 per year
