Business Analyst Intern

Job Description:

We are looking for dynamic and enthusiastic freshers to join us as Business Analyst Interns for a 3-month internship program. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the logistics and transportation domain, focusing on CRM systems and Agile project environments. During this period, interns will learn to gather business requirements, prepare documentation (BRD, FRD), create user stories, and support product development through tools like Jira, Confluence, wireframes, flowcharts, and traceability matrices. Based on performance during the internship, there may be an opportunity for a full-time role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements from logistics stakeholders such as operations, dispatch, fleet management, warehousing, and customer service teams.
• Support in preparing Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Functional Requirement Documents (FRD) to align IT solutions with business goals.
• Learn to develop and maintain user stories and acceptance criteria, and participate in backlog grooming sessions.
• Create basic process flow diagrams, system interaction maps, and wireframes for features like load booking, tracking, POD, driver payments, and CRM ticketing.
• Understand and assist in maintaining traceability matrices to track requirements across the project lifecycle.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, product owners, and SMEs using Jira and Confluence for task tracking and documentation.
• Support CRM integrations, help desk modules, and logistics dashboards by defining workflows and API-related requirements under guidance.
• Assist in preparing UAT test cases, coordinating stakeholder reviews, and supporting feature rollout activities.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

• Recent graduates or final-year students with a B.E. in Automobile, Mechanical, Electrical, or any other related stream.
• Completion of a JIRA course is mandatory.
• Internship experience is preferred.
• Basic understanding of CRM platforms and customer support systems (e.g., Zoho CRM, Salesforce, Freshdesk) is an added advantage.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology and tools like Confluence, MS Visio, Lucidchart, or wireframing tools (Balsamiq, Figma) is desirable.
• Eagerness to learn logistics processes such as freight movement, trip creation, driver assignments, POD, invoicing, and settlement flows.
• A self-motivated and collaborative approach with a willingness to take initiative.

Duration: 3 Months Internship (Performance-based extension or full-time opportunity)
