Job Title: Business Analyst Intern

Job Overview

The Business Analyst Intern will support the Business Analysis team in understanding business processes, gathering requirements, and assisting in documentation of systems and workflows. The intern will work closely with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to help translate business needs into functional requirements. This internship provides exposure to the full project lifecycle, including requirement gathering, documentation, testing, and client support.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in eliciting and documenting business requirements from clients and internal stakeholders.
• Support the preparation of Business Requirement Specifications (BRS) and other project documentation.
• Help create project charters, responsibility matrices, and risk registers.
• Assist in preparing proposals and product demonstrations for potential clients.
• Participate in client meetings, take minutes of meetings (MoM), and track action items.
• Support the preparation of project status reports for management review.
• Assist in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) on staging environments and document test results.
• Help create user manuals, training materials, and operational guides.
• Support the team in client training sessions and product walkthroughs.
• Assist in bug tracking and reporting using tools like Jira.
• Contribute to process documentation, use case diagrams, and workflow diagrams.
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Basic understanding of Business Analysis concepts and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills, including documentation and technical writing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of diagramming tools such as MS Visio or similar is a plus.
• Understanding of bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) is an advantage.
• Interest or knowledge in financial markets or stock exchange trading will be considered a plus.
