Business Analyst Intern

MANTECH seeks a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst Intern to join our Data and Artificial Intelligence Practice. This role is perfect for a proactive student looking to develop a versatile skill set in data analysis (excel), process optimization and problem-solving, project management and professional communications across departments and stakeholders. This is a hybrid position with work in our MANTECH headquarters in Herndon, VA as necessary.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Support the creation and distribution of practice-wide materials and communications, ensuring professionalism, consistency, and timeliness.
• Assist in evaluating and updating business processes and supporting materials to eliminate bottlenecks and ensure high-quality documentation.
• Provide operational support to the business team by executing various ad-hoc tasks that strengthen core business functions.
• Acquire and apply project management principles to support the lifecycle of applicable engagements.
• Facilitate communication and coordination among leadership, the Data and AI practice and other stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

• US Citizen with an active security clearance or eligibility to obtain a security clearance
• Current full-time student pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint).
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational, written, and verbal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or previous work experience in an operational, analytical, or related role.
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, with the ability to perform complex data analysis in Excel and create professional PowerPoint presentations.
• General familiarity with or a keen interest in the Data and AI landscape.

Citizenship and Security Clearance Requirements:

• U.S. Citizen eligible to obtain a US Security Clearance.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%” and “The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
