Wealth Management (WM) Platforms manages industry-leading platforms, across all WM channels and client segments, to provide a unified digital experience, unlock growth, and deliver efficiencies for Advisors, Clients, and Institutions. It manages digital products used by over 16,000 Financial Advisors across the firm. WM Platforms consists of nine sub-teams including: Field Experience & Platforms, Digital Client Experience & Platforms, Workplace Platforms, Automation & Workflow Solutions, Digital Trading & Investing, UX Design & Research, Strategy & Execution. Business Control & Support, and the Chief Operating Office.

The Chief Operating Office (COO) Business Management Team is responsible for all aspects of non-technology budget, managing financials and corresponding reporting across the Platforms organization. Business Management serves as the primary liaison between our core businesses and the vendors that support them. This includes the oversight of Platform’s contingents as well as the management and enforcement of the Wealth Management expense policy.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Become a subject matter expert on Wealth Management expense policy and tools across key Platforms regions – North America, Canada, India and Budapest
  • Own Platforms Travel & Entertainment (T&E) expense management front to back – including:

o Counseling employees on policy and ensuring process is understood across the organization

o Reviewing and approving expense submissions made in Concur, partnering closely with employees to address any gaps or issues

o Coordinate with Platforms’ stakeholders on creation of Entertainment and Conference (EnC) requests where needed

  • Create & maintain best practice documentation on expense process and Platforms-specific guidelines
  • Collaborate with expense partners at AMEX and Platforms employees to address reporting and payment issues
  • Create recommendations and reporting associated with annual budget, forecasting and actuals for the T&E budget
  • Create and maintain tracker for ENC requests to analyze risks and opportunities throughout the year
  • Management of vendor invoicing for WM Platforms including the processing of invoices in relevant tools and following up for approval where required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 0-1 year of business analyst experience, preferably with a financial services background
  • Basic understanding of accounting concepts (P&L, margin, forecasting, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to interact effectively and collaborate with stakeholders across platforms – strong EQ is a must
  • Effective, creative and flexible problem solver
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, ability to interact at all levels of the organization and tailor messages appropriately
  • Independent self-starter who can manage day-to-day deliverables and prioritization with limited overlap with the onshore team
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Teams and PowerPoint
