>>About the Digital Government Advisory Team

KPMG India’s Digital Government Advisory (DGA) practice helps government bodies modernize public services through technology. It offers strategic consulting, digital architecture, and sector-specific solutions across areas like transport, water, justice, and finance. The team enables large-scale e-Governance, data analytics, and automation to improve efficiency and citizen experience.


>>About the Role:

To support in streamlining business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, and ensuring successful delivery of government IT projects through effective stakeholder engagement and technical documentation.


>>Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis & Documentation:

  • Conduct detailed business analysis and prepare comprehensive "As-Is" and "To-Be" documentation .
  • Map current processes, identify gaps, and design improved workflows.
  • Lead Business Process Reengineering (BPR) initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.


Requirement Gathering & Specification:

  • Prepare Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) in alignment with stakeholder needs.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and government stakeholders to ensure clarity and completeness of requirements.


RFP & Bid Management:

  • Draft Request for Proposals (RFPs) with clear and actionable project requirements.
  • Manage the bid process , including vendor evaluation and proposal analysis.
  • Ensure alignment of vendor solutions with project goals and compliance standards.


>>Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.E./B.Tech./MCA/M.Tech with MBA/PGDM or equivalent from a recognized Institute/University.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in large-scale e-Governance projects .
  • Relevant experience in at least 2 Central Government Schemes/Programmes .


>>Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools and business analysis frameworks.
  • Familiarity with government procurement processes and e-Governance standards.
