About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with strong cybersecurity and network security expertise to join our team in a regulated enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in requirements elicitation, business process modelling, and stakeholder management, combined with deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, controls, and regulatory compliance. You will act as the bridge between technical security teams and business stakeholders, ensuring security requirements are effectively embedded into projects.

Core Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document requirements for cybersecurity and network security projects.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to align security solutions with business needs.
  • Apply cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) to projects and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Support Agile delivery: assist product owners with epics, user stories, and backlog refinement.
  • Translate complex network security concepts into clear, business-friendly language.
  • Produce business process models, artefacts, and documentation in line with project requirements.
  • Assess and articulate risk exposure in regulated environments (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).

Must-Have Skills & Experience

  • Business Analysis – Proven track record in BA/Systems Analysis in large, regulated environments; strong in requirements lifecycle management.
  • Network Security & Cybersecurity – Solid understanding of security concepts, controls, and architectures; experience applying NIST/ISO 27001/CIS.
  • Stakeholder Communication – Ability to translate technical security topics for business stakeholders; excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Agile Delivery – Experience in Agile/SAFe environments (Scrum, Kanban); strong support for product owners and backlogs.
  • Regulatory & Risk Awareness – Experience in regulated industries (financial services preferred); knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, compliance, and risk.
  • Availability – Ready to join within 15–30 days (immediate joiners preferred).

Good-to-Have Skills

  • Practical knowledge of network security technologies (firewalls, VPN, IDS/IPS, proxies, zero-trust, cloud networking security).
  • Familiarity with threat modelling or penetration testing outputs from a BA perspective.
  • Experience with tools: JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel.
  • Exposure to automation of BA artefacts and reporting.
