ROLE SUMMARY

We are looking for an experienced Pre-Sales Business Analyst who will serve as the technical solutioning partner to our sales team. This role requires strong expertise in IT services, solution consulting, and new-age technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Cloud-native platforms, Data Analytics, and Automation.


The ideal candidate will have a blend of business acumen, solution architecture experience, and excellent presentation skills to engage with senior client stakeholders and craft winning proposals.


ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Collaborate with Sales, Solution Architects, and Delivery teams to understand client needs and design tailored IT solutions.
    • Support end-to-end presales activities including requirement analysis, proposal creation, RFP/RFI responses, and solution documentation.
    • Conduct market and competitive analysis to support solution positioning and pricing strategy.
    • Develop business cases, project scoping documents, and effort estimation in collaboration with technical teams.
    • Prepare client-facing materials — presentations, demos, and solution pitches — articulating business value clearly.
    • Translate complex technical concepts into simple business narratives.
    • Work with internal stakeholders to ensure proposals are aligned with delivery capabilities and organizational goals.
    • Maintain a repository of case studies, proposals, and reusable templates for future pursuits.

MUST HAVE SKILLS

  • 3+ years of experience
    in IT services or product-based environments, preferably in business analysis or presales roles.
  • Strong understanding of IT delivery models, software development lifecycle, and digital transformation domains (Cloud, Data, Mobility, Automation, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills — ability to translate technical insights into business impact.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), business modeling tools, and proposal writing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with an eye for detail.
  • Experience in preparing business cases, ROI analyses, and client proposals.
  • A proactive collaborator who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
