Business Analyst (Retail Audit)

Location: Islamabad, Lahore & Karachi


Role Overview


We are looking for a Senior D&A Product Partner (Retail Audit) to lead the transformation of Retail Audit analytics across the AME region. The role will partner with business and technology teams to translate fragmented Retail Audit data into standardized, scalable analytics products within our Enterprise Data Platform. This position will drive harmonized KPIs, MVP delivery, and market adoption to enable advanced insights and future AI-ready analytics.


Responsibilities


  • Act as the lead D&A business partner for Retail Audit analytics, collaborating with Planning, Trade Marketing, Brand/Category, and Technology teams.
  • Lead structured discovery sessions to convert business problems into standardized analytics and data product use cases.
  • Translate Retail Audit challenges (provider variability, KPI misalignment, mapping gaps, delays, and harmonization issues) into clear, actionable business and functional requirements.
  • Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), KPI definitions, source-to-KPI mappings, data contracts, and validation rules.
  • Ensure Retail Audit analytics are aligned with the global multi-category KPI framework and commercial analytics standards.
  • Co-design scalable Retail Audit data and analytics products within the Enterprise Data Platform (EDP 2.0), ensuring readiness for advanced analytics and AI use cases.
  • Track delivery milestones, data ingestion progress, MVP scope, and readiness for release.
  • Identify delivery risks and coordinate mitigation actions with vendors, markets, and technical teams.
  • Coordinate and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue tracking, prioritization, and resolution.
  • Drive adoption, usage tracking, and post-implementation value realization across markets.
  • Communicate progress, risks, and decisions clearly to senior regional and global stakeholders.
  • Support onboarding, enablement, and education of local markets and downstream users.
  • Act as an ambassador for data & analytics best practices, governance, and cross-functional collaboration.


Requirements


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial, trade marketing, or analytics business partnering roles within a global FMCG environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Retail Audit data and providers (e.g., Nielsen/NIQ, Logista, or equivalents).
  • Proven experience leading D&A or analytics initiatives across marketing or commercial functions.
  • Experience managing senior and global stakeholders independently.
  • Experience in project or program delivery, preferably in agile or hybrid environments.
  • Exposure to regulated industries is an advantage.
  • Strong ability to map end-to-end business processes and translate them into data and analytics requirements.
  • Expertise in KPI definition, standardization, and cross-market alignment.
  • Solid understanding of Retail Audit structures, KPIs, and harmonization challenges.
  • Product and MVP mindset with the ability to convert problems into scalable data products.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams.
  • Strong documentation capabilities (BRDs, KPI frameworks, mappings, validation workflows).
  • General awareness of AI/ML and GenAI concepts and their data requirements.
