Business Analyst – Lead Sales Operations

Role Overview:
We are seeking a Business Analyst to lead the Sales Operations function for a HiTech customer account. The role involves providing end-to-end sales support, managing complex deal processes, and ensuring adherence to corporate revenue and pricing guidelines. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, process-oriented, and capable of working across multiple functions to ensure deals are executed efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the Sales Operations function for HiTech customer accounts, ensuring smooth operations and process adherence.

Support sales teams in quote creation, complex bundling, conversions, and approvals using the CPQ engine.

Evaluate deals in line with corporate ARR growth and pricing guidelines, ensuring compliance and governance.

Identify and resolve blockers in the quote-to-order process, coordinating with Channels, Account Executives, Deals Desk, and Finance to convert deals into orders.

Monitor CRM hygiene and collaborate with sales leaders to correct discrepancies or errors.

Contribute to the Sales Operations Playbook, updating process documentation, SOPs, and best practices.

Support sales forecasting and reporting, providing insights and dashboards to drive decision-making.

Collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, ensuring expectations are aligned and issues are addressed proactively.
Key Skills & Competencies:

Sales Operations Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage Sales Ops for enterprise/HiTech accounts.

CPQ Expertise: Experience in quote creation, complex bundling, conversions, validation, and approval workflows.

Deal Evaluation & ARR Governance: Knowledge of ARR and pricing policies, with experience assessing deal compliance.

Quote-to-Order Process Management: Strong coordination skills to identify and resolve process blockers.

CRM & Sales Hygiene Management: Expertise in maintaining CRM accuracy and monitoring sales quality.

Process Documentation & Playbook Contribution: Ability to create, update, and optimize Sales Ops playbooks and SOPs.

Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Capable of preparing accurate forecasts and delivering actionable insights.

Cross-functional Stakeholder Management: Excellent collaboration and communication across teams.

Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Strong data interpretation, issue resolution, and insight generation.

Communication & Presentation Skills: Clear, concise communication with internal teams and customers.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

5+ years’ experience in Sales Operations, Business Analysis, or related function, preferably in HiTech or enterprise technology.

Hands-on experience with CPQ systems, CRM management, and enterprise sales processes.

Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and complex sales processes in a fast-paced environment.
