The Business Analyst should have at least 3-5 years of experience and must have a construction, manufacturing, or utility background. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Effective communication skills;
- Performing root-cause analysis;
- Budget management, project finances consolidation and tracking, collaboration with scheduling team, and risk management;
- Performing continuous process improvement;
- Facilitation of work-package prioritization;
- Documenting business requirements and planning of each project;
- Analyzing critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to project completion and recommend alternative work paths;
- Interdepartmental, stakeholder, and upper management communication;
- Dashboard creation and visualization to understand project performance;
Business professionals and engineers should also have some experience in forecasting, critical path method schedule management, and risk management. Heavy industrial, construction, and/or utility and manufacturing experience is highly recommended and preferred.
