Business Analytics (PhD) Specialist – MBA Faculty

Job Overview

We are seeking passionate, qualified, and experienced full-time faculty members in Business Analytics to teach at the MBA level. The ideal candidates will possess strong academic credentials, relevant industry or research experience in analytics, and a commitment to innovative, student-centered teaching methodologies.

This role is suited for educators dedicated to excellence in higher education, academic research, and student mentorship. As a full-time faculty member, you will play an active role in curriculum development, high-impact instruction, and the continuous academic and professional development of MBA students in a dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities1. Teaching & Student Engagement:

Deliver high-quality lectures and facilitate interactive classroom sessions for MBA courses, including:

• Business Analytics
• Data Analytics & Visualization
• Business Intelligence / Predictive Analytics

Design and implement effective lesson plans, instructional materials, assessments, and case-based learning activities.
Integrate real-world analytics applications, industry datasets, case studies, and technology-enhanced teaching tools to enhance student engagement.
Create an inclusive learning environment that promotes analytical thinking, data-driven decision-making, collaboration, and active participation.

2. Student Mentorship & Academic Support:

Provide academic mentoring and guidance to MBA students, including support for research projects, analytics case analyses, internships, and career development.
Assess student performance using diverse evaluation methods and provide timely, constructive feedback.
Address academic concerns and support students in achieving learning outcomes.

3. Curriculum Development & Academic Alignment:

Contribute to the design, review, and enhancement of the MBA curriculum in Business Analytics in line with global business, technology, and data trends.
Embed contemporary analytics tools, statistical techniques, and evidence-based practices into course content.
Collaborate with academic teams and program coordinators to strengthen interdisciplinary and experiential learning approaches.

4. Research & Scholarly Contribution:

Conduct and publish scholarly research in Business Analytics, Data Science, Information Systems, Statistics, or related disciplines.
Supervise MBA student research projects, dissertations, and academic initiatives.
Participate in academic conferences, seminars, workshops, and collaborative research activities.

5. Academic Administration & Governance:

Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and institutional planning activities.
Maintain accurate academic records, including attendance, grading, course files, and documentation.
Support accreditation, quality assurance, and compliance with institutional and regulatory standards.

Qualifications & Skills Required Educational Requirements:

Preferred: Ph.D. in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, Management, or Business Administration with Analytics specialization.

Experience & Expertise

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience at the postgraduate (MBA) level or in higher education.
• Demonstrated expertise in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Predictive Analytics, or related domains.
• Industry experience in analytics, consulting, or data-driven decision-making roles and involvement in curriculum or program development is an added advantage.

Technical & Soft Skills:

• Strong knowledge of analytics tools such as Python, R, Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Advanced Excel, or similar technologies.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong classroom management, presentation, and student engagement capabilities.
• Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS), educational technologies, and productivity tools.
• Commitment to research, continuous professional development, and student success.
• Strong collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a diverse academic environment.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
