Business Analytics & Portfolio Support Analyst – Issuing Solutions

About the Role


Our client, a leading FinTech organization, is seeking a Business Analytics & Portfolio Support Analyst – Issuing Solutions to join their team. This role will partner closely with the Product Lead to drive data-led decision-making, performance tracking, and business insights across risk and identity solutions in the CEMEA region.


The position emphasizes business analytics, portfolio performance management, and stakeholder support , enabling effective product adoption, client value realization, and strategic growth initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

Business & Portfolio Analytics

  • Analyze issuer and portfolio performance using key metrics such as authorization rates, fraud rates, approval uplift, and false positives
  • Generate actionable insights to support optimization of risk and authentication solutions
  • Perform trend analysis and identify opportunities for performance improvement and revenue uplift

Reporting & Decision Support

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, performance trackers, and client-ready reports
  • Provide structured insights for business reviews, pilot evaluations, and leadership reporting
  • Translate complex data into clear business recommendations for internal and external stakeholders

Program & Execution Support

  • Support execution of regional product initiatives (e.g., VAA, VRM, VAAI) with strong focus on KPI tracking and business outcomes
  • Assist in managing pilot programs by monitoring timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics
  • Ensure smooth coordination and visibility across multiple initiatives

Commercial & Growth Support

  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities through data-driven portfolio analysis
  • Support commercialization efforts by providing business cases, performance insights, and adoption metrics
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategies and client engagement initiatives

Stakeholder Management & Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Sales, Consulting (VCA), Client Services, and regional teams
  • Align on data requirements, reporting needs, and project deliverables
  • Act as a key support function bridging analytics, product, and business teams


About You

  • 4–6 years of experience in business analytics, payments, fintech, consulting, or portfolio management
  • Strong understanding of the card payments lifecycle , including authorization and fraud processes
  • Proven experience working with business KPIs and performance metrics (approval rates, fraud rates, etc.)
  • Advanced analytical capabilities with tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, and BI platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Strong ability to translate data into business insights and recommendations
  • Highly structured, detail-oriented, and execution-driven with strong stakeholder management skills
