Job Title: Business & Data Analyst
Location: Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid/In-Person)

Salary Range: $75,000 – $100,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

We are currently seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Business Analyst to support our Operations Department in leveraging data to improve efficiency, outcomes, and strategic decision-making.

Position Summary:
The Business Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to inform business decisions and improve operational performance. The ideal candidate has strong analytical skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and experience creating data visualizations and business forecasts. Prior experience in a behavioral health, therapy, or medical setting is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for operational improvement
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, charts, and reports to support decision-making
  • Collaborate with department leaders to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that align with organizational goals
  • Conduct business forecasting and financial modeling to support planning and resource allocation
  • Track KPIs and performance metrics across departments and programs
  • Present data findings and actionable recommendations to leadership
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards
  • Support process improvement initiatives through data insights and workflow analysis

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Economics, Health Administration, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a business/data analyst role
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, etc.)
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a behavioral therapy agency, healthcare organization, or nonprofit setting
  • Familiarity with EMR, billing systems, or scheduling platforms used in medical or therapeutic environments
  • Understanding of HIPAA and healthcare compliance standards
