About the School

Nord Anglia International School Abu Dhabi (NAS Abu Dhabi) is on Al Reem Island. The school opened a new campus in August 2023 to support our students' futures with a focus on creativity, resilience, global awareness and teamwork.

The Role

All students-from Early Years through IGCSEs and A-levels-follow the English National Curriculum. The successful candidate will inspire students of all ages and abilities. Classroom resources are plentiful, and high achievement expectations are maintained. Building and sustaining positive relationships with parents is essential to maximise student progress. About You

You are a passionate, professional educator who seeks continuous improvement. You will have a positive mindset and strive for the best for students, parents and colleagues. Strong experience with the UK National Curriculum is essential; international education experience is an advantage. You will be an excellent communicator, work well with the whole community, contribute to school life beyond the classroom, and help develop a culture of inspiration, enjoyment and success. You will collaborate, share expertise, and build strong working relationships. Flexibility and openness to a fast-paced international environment are essential.

Qualifications/Training
  • Bachelor's degree or above in the subject taught
  • Qualified Teacher Status
Experience/Knowledge
  • Minimum two years' experience teaching UK National Curriculum at Key Stage 3 and IGCSE
  • Minimum two years' experience teaching IB Diploma Programme at SL and HL, or A-level
  • Evidence of innovating and adapting curricula to engage students
  • Experience working in partnership with parents
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic with a drive to improve
  • Flexible approach to changing circumstances
  • Compassion and kindness toward others
