The Business Application Tech - Affordable Experience will work cooperatively with our associates, internal resources and vendors to resolve issues related to our business application software. By understanding, analyzing, prioritizing, and resolving incidents in a timely and professional manner: the Business Application Tech - Yardi Affordable will contribute to the excellent customer service experience that employees and customers of CONAM are accustomed to receiving.
What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking an Business Application Technician - Yardi Affordable Experience This is a full-time position with full benefits. Pay range: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
Candidates to be considered must reside in one of the following states: California, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Texas, Georgia or Florida.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Application Support
- Provide expertise with our affordable property management software systems to issues timely for our customers and team members.
- Document, track and monitor all incidents and provide a timely resolution; test and verify fixes to ensure resolution; generate knowledge articles for technicians and requestors
- Utilize service desk software to manage incidents and service requests
- Communicate effectively with all users with a focus on the end user reassessing/resolving issues as appropriate
- Manage user expectations through constant communication in a courteous and professional manner
- Partner with all application vendors and escalations of critical or stalled issues and roadmap alignment
- Testing of application upgrades and custom reports
- Creation of custom articles to provide tools for our associates to resolve their issues without needing to engage with IT
- Partnering with other teams within the department to look for efficiencies and process improvement opportunities
Property Setup
- Configure affordable Projects and related setup as new properties are onboarded in Yardi Affordable
- Develop plans to configure Yardi Affordable in existing conventional properties that have affordable units in their mix
- Create checklists so progress can be clearly measured and communicated to Operations team
Rent/ UA Changes
- Enter affordable rent changes as needed per client request and in compliance with applicable management agencies
Income Limit Updates
- Partner with Compliance department to make sure Income Limit updates are imported or entered as needed to ensure we are in compliance
All other duties as assigned
Who You Are: (Requirements of the Position)
- High school diploma or GED required, college education or equivalent certification path preferred
- Minimum (2) years of experience supporting Yardi affordable property management in a support position
- Knowledge of affordable housing programs (HUD, LIHTC, HOME) required
- HCCP/COS certification or equivalent a plus
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel spreadsheet generation and management
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles a plus
- Experience working in a fast-paced support environment, keeping track of multiple simultaneous priorities
- Effectively communicate (written and verbally) with individuals at all organizational levels
- Ability to gather, interpret information effectively and conduct research into a wide range of subjects as required
- Strong organization skills including prioritization of tasks and attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple assignments under tight deadlines
- Function well in a team as well as a setting with limited supervision
- Robust problem-solving and logical analysis skills, as well as effective troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Strong interpersonal skills-including verbal, written communication skills and excellent listening skills
- Excellent track record of delivering accurate, high-quality, enterprise grade solutions
- Commitment to excellent customer service for internal and external customers
