In this role, you will:

  • Partner with executive leadership to define enterprise strategy, transformation priorities, and long-range business objectives.
  • Translate strategic goals into end-to-end transformation roadmaps aligned to business value, regulatory requirements, and organizational readiness.
  • Design and evolve enterprise and business-unit operating models to support growth, efficiency, and innovation.
  • Develop and maintain business capability models and value streams across the Rx value chain (R&D, Clinical, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Commercial, Pharmacovigilance).
  • Lead strategy-to-execution alignment by ensuring initiatives, programs, and investments map back to defined capabilities and outcomes.
  • Drive large-scale transformation initiatives including digital transformation, data and analytics modernization, ERP/CRM programs, and regulatory-driven change.
  • Facilitate executive and cross-functional strategy workshops to identify opportunities, risks, dependencies, and transformation impacts.
  • Partner with Program Management, Enterprise Architecture, IT, and Change Management teams to ensure cohesive delivery and adoption.
  • Define business cases, benefits realization frameworks, KPIs, and success metrics to measure transformation impact.
  • Assess organizational maturity and readiness, identifying change management and capability uplift needs.
  • Ensure all transformation designs and recommendations comply with FDA, EMA, GxP, HIPAA, and internal quality standards.
  • Provide thought leadership on pharmaceutical industry trends, emerging operating models, and transformation best practices.


Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in business architecture, enterprise strategy, management consulting, or large-scale transformation roles.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or supporting enterprise strategy and transformation initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in business capability modeling, value stream design, and operating model transformation.
  • Proven ability to translate strategy into executable roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
  • Experience working with executive stakeholders and influencing decision-making at senior levels.
  • Excellent facilitation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across complex organizations. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a regulated GxP environment.
  • Familiarity with frameworks such as TOGAF, SAFe, Lean, or BPMN.
  • Experience partnering with regulatory, quality, and compliance teams.
  • Background in data-driven decision-making and analytics. • Prior consulting experience within life sciences or healthcare.
  • Must be willing to go on-site to Deerfield monthly.
