In this role, you will:

Remediate Processes and Process Mapping in ARIS to align latest standards as defined through the transition to Value Streams.

Responsible for ensuring Process & Architectural changes requested by the business and key stakeholders are responded to in a timely and accurate manner. Responsible for ensuring quality of data and diagrams hosted in any repository meet the HSBC group standards, and the requirements of relevant internal instructions (FIMs, GSMs, circulars) and external regulatory requirements

Collaborating with Business Service Owners, Process Owners and strategic programmes, capture endtoend processes and align to architectural blueprints.
- Promote effective communication across the Business and Process Architecture function so the ‘team’ understands how to come together to deliver success

Set the standards by cultivating an operating environment that reflects the HSBC brand & values

Lead by example – deal with others as one wants to be dealt with, exert discipline and focus in overcoming challenges, speak up about perceived issues rather than ‘accepting the status quo’, and promote the ethos of a winning team rather than a winning individual
To be successful you will:

An excellent communicator, both verbal and written skills.

Able to succinctly explain the construct and use of ARIS to the MSS business.

Able to understand the constituents of business architecture and a solid understanding of relational databases. Process Modelling & Product Knowledge

Experience of using tools to capture process maps and/ or other architectural blueprints Process mapping/ modelling tools [ARIS - Essential]

Knowledge of: Markets [FX; Equities; Fixed Income] & Securities Services [Funds/Custody] products & an understanding of key stages of the trade lifecycle. Operational Resilience / Sarbanes Oxley.

Management of Risk (Operational Risk / FIM requirements): Is aware of the Operational Risk scenario associated with the role and acts in a manner that takes account of operational risk considerations.
