Business Associate

EMTECH is a fast-growing technology startup focused on delivering innovative digital solutions to businesses. We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Associate who can help drive business growth, build client relationships, and support strategic initiatives in a dynamic startup environment.

Role Summary

Business Associate will be responsible for coordinating, preparing, and submitting high-quality technical and commercial proposals for IT infrastructure, ELV, cloud, cybersecurity, managed services, digital solutions, and enterprise technology projects.

The role acts as a bridge between the sales team, pre-sales consultants, solution architects, vendors, procurement, finance, and delivery teams to ensure that proposals are accurate, competitive, compliant, and submitted within customer deadlines.

The ideal candidate should have strong coordination skills, technical understanding of IT solutions, excellent documentation ability, and the capability to manage multiple proposal requirements under tight timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Proposal Coordination

Coordinate end-to-end proposal preparation for customer RFQs, RFPs, tenders, and direct project requirements.

Review customer requirements, tender documents, scope of work, compliance sheets, BOQs, and submission guidelines.

Work closely with sales, pre-sales, technical, procurement, and finance teams to collect required inputs for proposal preparation.

Ensure all proposals are prepared and submitted within the agreed timeline and customer deadline.

Maintain proper tracking of all active proposals, submissions, clarifications, revisions, and follow-ups.

Technical Documentation

Prepare structured technical proposals, solution descriptions, compliance statements, scope of work, methodology, assumptions, exclusions, project timelines, and delivery approach documents.

Coordinate with solution architects and technical teams to ensure that proposed solutions are technically correct and aligned with customer requirements.

Prepare and update technical datasheets, product documents, company profiles, project references, credentials, and vendor authorization documents as required.

Ensure proposal documents are professionally formatted, accurate, and aligned with company branding standards.

Commercial & BOQ Support

Coordinate with vendors and procurement teams to obtain pricing, product availability, lead time, warranty details, and technical compliance.

Assist in preparing BOQs, commercial summaries, cost sheets, margin sheets, and proposal submission packs.

Work with finance and management teams to ensure pricing, payment terms, delivery terms, and commercial conditions are properly reviewed before submission.

Ensure all assumptions, exclusions, dependencies, and scope boundaries are clearly mentioned in the proposal.

Vendor & Internal Coordination

Coordinate with OEMs, distributors, and partners for solution inputs, product recommendations, deal registration, special pricing, and authorization letters.

Follow up with internal teams to close pending technical, commercial, and compliance inputs.

Support the sales team during customer clarification stages, revised proposal submissions, and negotiation support.

Maintain proper documentation of vendor quotes, solution references, pricing approvals, and customer submission records.

Quality & Compliance

Ensure all proposal submissions comply with customer requirements, tender guidelines, and internal approval processes.

Validate that the final proposal includes all required documents such as technical proposal, commercial proposal, BOQ, compliance matrix, company documents, certifications, references, and supporting annexures.

Maintain proposal templates, standard scope documents, solution write-ups, and frequently used technical content.

Continuously improve proposal quality, presentation, accuracy, and turnaround time.

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong coordination and follow-up skills.

Good understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cybersecurity, cloud, ELV, managed services, and enterprise technology solutions.

Ability to read and understand RFQs, RFPs, BOQs, technical specifications, and compliance documents.

Excellent documentation, formatting, and proposal writing skills.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Ability to work with multiple teams and manage multiple proposals simultaneously.

Good communication skills with sales, technical, vendor, and management teams.

Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in documentation and commercial coordination.

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight submission deadlines.

Basic understanding of pricing, margins, delivery timelines, warranty terms, and project scope.

Preferred Technical Knowledge

Experience or familiarity with solutions such as:

Networking and Wi-Fi solutions
Firewalls and cybersecurity solutions
Servers, storage, backup, and virtualization
Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud solutions
CCTV, access control, structured cabling, AV, and ELV systems
Managed services, AMC, SOC, NOC, and helpdesk solutions
ERP, digital learning, and software solution proposals

please note this hiring is not for IT support engineers role. we will be only select candidates with business support experience in IT firm.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
