Principal Accountabilities

  • Part ERM and BCM team who work with senior management in all lines of business to coordinate business continuity governance activities
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the enterprise-wide business continuity management program including development of tools and instructional guides
  • Business continuity planning, development and facilitation of enterprise-wide event exercises, relationship management with external vendors, development of policy, standards, and guidelines
  • Assist in developing and conducting risk assessments, business impact analysis, identifying prevention and mitigation efforts that result from such work
  • Develop and maintains a business recovery plan and procedure; reviews, revises, and expands existing plans and protocols in an organized, auditable manor
  • Facilitate BCM trainings, drills and awareness sessions
  • Provide leadership, advice, and guidance to other team members, departments on business continuity management
  • Foster relationships and develops networking opportunities to gather and disseminate business continuity information
  • Adeptly and productively works with a wide array of employees across business disciplines and hierarchies
  • Prepare reports and presentations summarizing results, trends and accomplishments of specified objectives, goals, or plans related to BCM and Risk Management
  • Perform all duties in a professional, effective and confidential manner and performs all other related duties as required or assigned.
  • Ensure compliance with industry latest standards, regulations, and best practices etc
  • Develop and deliver training programs to ensure employees understand their roles during a disruption

Educational Qualifications & Certifications

Relevant Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering in a related discipline, or equivalent
  • Certification BCM and Risk Management (such as CBCI, CBCP, CRMA, ISO 22301, ISO 31000, etc.) will be preferred
  • Master’s Degree is an advantage
  • Minimum 07 years of experience in business continuity and risk management

  • Excellent written & spoken communication skills in the English language. Knowledge of Arabic is preferred

  • Industry knowledge and experience, Oil & Gas and EPC Industry
  • Reasonable depth of exposure/understanding of business continuity management processes, operational risk & resilience, business continuity improvement methods risk related control framework
  • Proficiency in BC/DR software and tools
