Title: Business Data Analyst

Duration: Long term contract- 12month contract, possible extensions

Years of experience: None required, just a Bachelors’ degree

We’re looking for a Business Data Analyst to support a data governance auditing initiative. These roles will interface with functional teams across the Utility business and help translate reporting and dashboard needs into actionable user stories in Jira. The work is focused on digital deliverables including AI models and dashboards and requires fast ramp-up and strong collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Gather requirements from end users and translate them into clear Jira stories
• Collaborate with developers to ensure stories are actionable and deliver value
• Support auditing efforts related to data governance
• Participate in meetings with internal customers to understand reporting/dashboard needs

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (field of study flexible, business-related preferred)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; social and forward-facing
• Ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
• Basic understanding of data concepts (e.g., histograms, metrics)

Compensation :

$28/hr to $30/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
