 Day to Day:
 
 
 
 Insight Global is seeking a detail-oriented
 
 Analytical Development Scientist
 
 to join a pioneering biotech joint venture focused on accelerating cell therapies from bench to bedside. This role is based
 
 onsite in Houston, TX
 
 within the Texas Medical Center. The Scientist will play a critical part in developing and validating analytical methods to ensure identity, purity, and potency of cutting-edge cell therapy products. This position goes beyond routine testing&mdash;it requires technical expertise, problem-solving, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support IND filings and technology transfer.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Assay Development &amp; Execution:
 
 Design, execute, and troubleshoot analytical assays (e.g., flow cytometry, qPCR/ddPCR, ELISA) to support cell therapy programs.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Data Analysis &amp; Reporting:
 
 Analyze experimental data, compile results, and present findings to internal teams. Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with regulatory standards.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Protocol &amp; SOP Management:
 
 Write and revise protocols for equipment and laboratory practices. Ensure adherence to GMP/GxP guidelines.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Technology Transfer &amp; Validation:
 
 Participate in assay qualification, validation, and transfer activities to manufacturing and QC teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 
 Lab Operations:
 
 Monitor inventory, maintain equipment calibration, and uphold safety and security procedures.
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Must Haves:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 
 Bachelor&rsquo;s degree
 
 in a related scientific field
 </li>
 <li>
 
 3+ years of industry experience
 
 , preferably in biotech or cell therapy
 </li>
 <li>
 Hands-on proficiency in:
 </li>
 <li>
 Mammalian cell culture and aseptic techniques
 </li>
 <li>
 Nucleic acid extraction and quantitation
 </li>
 <li>
 Flow cytometry sample prep and analysis
 </li>
 <li>
 Handling viral vectors (retroviral/lentiviral)
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational skills and ability to work semi-independently
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
 </li>
