Job Overview
We are looking for our company positioned in the sector of Engineering Consultant & Construction a Women for Business Development to drive our growth and streamline our commercial operations. This role is a hybrid of proactive lead generation and sophisticated commercial management. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of a business opportunity: from the initial research and cold outreach to the drafting of complex contracts and the monitoring of performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Prospecting (main activity)
- Client Research: Actively identify and research new business opportunities and potential leads using databases and professional platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
- Initial Outreach: Conduct cold calls and personalized email campaigns to introduce the company and qualify prospect interest.
- Appointment Management: Organize, plan, and attend virtual or face-to-face meetings; efficiently hand over highly qualified leads to the CEO when necessary.
2. Commercial Operations & Contract Management
- Documentation: Coordinate commercial documentation, contracts, and follow-ups with high accuracy and professionalism.
- Contract Lifecycle: Assist in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating contracts and agreements with both clients and vendors.
- Compliance: Ensure all commercial practices comply with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
3. Proposals & Client Relations
- Tenders & Bids: Lead or assist in the preparation of professional proposals, bids, and tender submissions.
- Sales Materials: Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and quotations for clients and partners.
- Account Support: Act as a dedicated point of contact for key clients, ensuring high-quality service and timely follow-up.
4. Analysis & Strategy
- Data Management: Maintain and constantly update prospect and client data within the CRM system.
- Market Insight: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends.
- Financial Support: Support budgeting, cost analysis, and pricing strategies to ensure profitable decision-making.
- Performance Reporting: Monitor commercial performance metrics and prepare insights for senior management.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record in business development, sales support, or commercial field
- Skills: Strong ability to perform cold outreach and qualification.
- Analytical Mindset: Comfortable with CRM tools, data entry, and financial analysis (Excel).
- Communication: Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, with a high level of professionalism.
- Experience: Previous experience of at least 5 years in the role
- Education: High school diploma (a university degree is a plus).
- IT Skills: Excellent knowledge of the Office Package (in particular Excel) and proficiency with the use of ERP and/or CRM management software.
- Soft Skills:
- Proactivity and strong results orientation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for client contact.
- Precision, methodical approach, and the ability to work independently.
- Resilience to stress and determination in achieving commercial objectives.
- Languages: Excellent knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written.
- Prior experience in the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) or Construction sector is a distinct advantage.
