JD Of Business Development

The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth within the fintech space. With 3+ years of experience in the fintech industry, the ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of financial technology, market trends, and sales strategies. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business development efforts and the company’s goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Opportunity Identification

Research and identify new business opportunities, including new markets, partnerships, and sales channels within the fintech sector.

  • Client Acquisition

Develop and manage a pipeline of potential clients. Execute outreach strategies and present company offerings to prospective customers to drive sales.

  • Partnership Development

Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, fintech startups, financial institutions, and payment providers to build long-term partnerships.

  • Market Research & Competitive Analysis

Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings. Provide insights to improve business development strategies.

  • Sales Strategy & Execution

Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets. Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing deals.

  • Collaboration with Product & Marketing Teams

Work closely with product development and marketing teams to ensure alignment of business development strategies with product roadmaps and promotional efforts.

  • Proposal Development & Presentations

Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations tailored to client needs and requirements.

  • Contract Negotiation

Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, ensuring agreements are beneficial for both parties and aligned with the company’s objectives.

  • Reporting & Performance Tracking

Monitor business development metrics and performance indicators. Provide regular reports on sales pipeline, revenue growth, and partnership opportunities.

  • Networking & Industry Engagement

Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company’s fintech offerings and build relationships with potential clients.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in business development or sales within the fintech industry.
  • Strong understanding of fintech products, services, and market dynamics.
  • Proven experience in lead generation, deal negotiation, and closing sales.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and translate them into business opportunities.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with financial services products such as payments, digital banking, lending, or blockchain is a plus.
