Role Definition
Business Development is responsible for driving strategic growth by identifying new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, and expanding the organization’s market presence. This role combines market analysis, relationship management, and revenue generation with leadership and cross-functional collaboration
Responsibility Deliverable
- Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
- Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with company objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and key decision-makers
- Generate leads through various channels including B2B portals and industry networks
- Conduct market research to identify industry trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities
- Gather and analyze competitive information to strengthen market positioning
- Maintain and manage a comprehensive database of contacts and prospects
- Perform data analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Represent the company at industry events, meetings, and networking forums
- Provide regular performance reports, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred) BSC Physics, Diploma/Engg in Mech.
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or strategic growth roles
- Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to analyze market data and translate insights into action
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven mindset
- Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to travel as required
