Business Development & Account Manager – IT Solutions

We're looking for a Business Development Manager who can think strategically, act tactically, and turn insight into action. You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, developing client relationships, shaping sales and marketing initiatives, and ensuring our solutions directly address customer pain points.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Acquisition & Growth: Identify, engage, and convert potential clients through outreach campaigns, networking, and market research.
- Strategic Sales Mapping: Understand customer challenges and align them with SynaptekX offerings—translating technical capabilities into compelling business solutions.
- Marketing Integration: Apply deep knowledge of the 7 Ps of marketing to shape campaigns, positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
- Website & Digital Content: Collaborate with the design/web development team to publish engaging, SEO-optimized sales and marketing content.
- Sales Plan Ownership: Build and maintain dynamic sales pipelines and marketing plans—updating stakeholders with actionable insights and progress reports.
- Lead Generation & Pipeline development: Use CRM tools, Linked-in outreach, partnerships, events, and thought leadership content to drive lead generation, well qualified pipeline development.
- Demand Generation Activities: strategies to create awareness, interest, and demand for a company's products or services, ultimately driving sales.
- Self-Starter Execution: Take ownership of your sales targets and create momentum without waiting for instruction—an entrepreneurial mindset is essential.
- Meet KPIs: i.e. revenue growth, customer acquisition cost, customer lifetime value, lead conversion rate, and sales cycle length.
- Stakeholder Communication: Present sales performance, market trends, and growth plans to senior leadership, offering strategic guidance and business intelligence.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in business development, consultative sales, or solution marketing—preferably in the tech, AI, or cloud sectors.
- Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals including the full 7 Ps framework and digital sales strategies.
- Demonstrated success in identifying client needs and closing B2B deals with mid-sized to enterprise-level organizations.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and analytics tools to manage pipelines and report performance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong collaboration mindset to work with product, marketing, and tech teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
