Business Development Analyst

Position Description:

Outpost Technologies is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Business Development Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will support company growth within the Aerospace and Defense industry by assisting in the identification of new opportunities, conducting research, and supporting capture and proposal activities.

Position Responsibilities:

• Maintain and track business development pipeline data with accuracy.
• Assist in identifying, qualifying, and pursuing new business opportunities within the Aerospace and Defense sectors.
• Support the development of relationships with government customers, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals, presentations, and materials tailored to customer needs.
• Conduct research and analysis of market trends, competitor activities, and potential partners to identify opportunities for growth.
• Assist in the execution of business development strategies to help achieve company goals.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking functions as needed.
• Provide regular reports and updates on business development activities to senior management.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of basic business development principles and eagerness to learn and grow in the role.
• Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a proactive and self-motivated approach.
• Interest in learning about the DoD acquisition process, procurement regulations, and contracting mechanisms.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
• Internship or prior experience in business development or government contracting.
• Familiarity with small business set-aside programs.
• Interest in emerging technologies and trends relevant to the DoD market.
• Exposure to proposal writing and bid management processes.
