Background:
Our client, A leading global investment firm specializes in providing tailored solutions across the Private Markets for institutional clients is looking for a detailed-orientated individual for the Business Development team to help the existing client managers and business development professionals to manage their outreach, with the Middle East as a primary focus
The structure supports a fully integrated model that encompasses Primary investments, Secondary investments, Co-Investments / Direct investments, Data Services, and Portfolio Analytics & Reporting across all Private Market asset classes. This approach enables the firm to offer specialized expertise in
(i) designing and building customized Private Market portfolios and
(ii) delivering a high standard of service to a select group of distinguished institutional clients
Responsibilities:

Using Salesforce proactively to help build lists of prospects, event management and day-to-day updates

Working with the existing sales team on a daily basis to build sales momentum and opportunities

Liaise between the asset class and sales teams

Help construct customised presentations for separately managed account / bespoke opportunities

Help plan events, including logistical support around AV, presentations, venues, as well as invite lists

Responding by e-mail and/or phone to information requests
-
Joining meetings with clients and potential where applicable
-
Working on existing client data requests

Helping to build prospective roadshows and fundraising campaigns

Generating reports for internal use

Upload and maintain research data within Salesforce

Able to travel to different offices and event locations in time
Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree at the minimum
-
Related client service experience in financial services, alternative fund or corporate administration or similar field experience required

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of Open and Closed Ended Structures

Highly motivated individual with demonstrated initiative, independence and adaptability
-
Strong Excel skills and familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite

Experience using and managing Salesforce, Microsoft CRM and Microsoft Sharepoint or an equivalent database
-
Meticulous attention to detail; strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and manage time in a detail oriented environment

Enthusiastic about private markets

Able to communicate with confidence to a wide range of audiences, including senior team members.

Willing to learn quickly and enthusiastic about growing the client base across asset classes
-
Interest or experience in the Middle East market
