About the Role

Edge is hiring a Business Development Leader – Revenue & Pipeline Intelligence to architect and optimize our end-to-end business development engine. This role is focused on transforming pipeline generation from high-volume outreach into high-signal, data-driven conversion.

You will oversee BD strategy and infrastructure, leveraging ZoomInfo, Salesforce, and Gong to engineer a high-performance pipeline. Acting as a bridge between Sales and Data Science, you will translate commercial intuition into measurable systems that improve targeting, lead quality, and conversion outcomes.


What you’ll do

  • Own pipeline performance from raw lead data to qualified pipeline and conversion metrics
  • Partner closely with Data Science to define requirements for lead scraping, scoring, and predictive models
  • Analyze Gong recordings to identify winning patterns and feed insights back into targeting strategy
  • Audit lifecycle performance of lead sources and eliminate underperforming channels
  • Optimize Salesforce architecture, reporting, and automated workflows tied to intent signals
  • Maximize ROI from ZoomInfo using advanced segmentation and intelligence-driven targeting
  • Establish scalable processes and data hygiene standards across the BD function
  • Continuously refine lead scoring and qualification frameworks


What you’ll need

  • Ability to translate between sales strategy and data science requirements
  • Deep expertise in Salesforce reporting, dashboards, and lead routing
  • Advanced proficiency with ZoomInfo and Gong for pipeline intelligence
  • Strong analytical mindset and experience evaluating lead quality and conversion metrics
  • Experience optimizing B2B business development or revenue operations systems
  • Comfort working cross-functionally with technical and commercial teams
  • Systems-thinking approach and strong problem-solving skills
