Business Development and Sales Manager

QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in business development and strategic sales roles.
  • Experience working with government bodies, municipalities, or public institutions as primary clients.
  • Preferably experienced in smart city technologies, defense, or high-tech sectors.
  • Fluent in English (required); Spanish and Arabic language skills are a plus.
  • Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in dynamic environments with international stakeholders.
  • No travel restrictions; valid B-class driver’s license.


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Oversee and align the Customer Solutions and Branding functions.
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the company’s smart city technologies, target markets, and customer needs.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence to support positioning, branding, and product communication strategies.
  • Work closely with technical and operational teams to ensure consistent internal coordination and alignment.
  • Build direct relationships with international business developers and support local partners in key markets.
  • Represent the company in international meetings, tenders, and institutional engagements.
  • Identify new market opportunities and strategic partnerships, especially within the public sector.
  • Take a leading role in outbound activities with government and institutional customers abroad.
  • Lead the business development and sales departments to achieve corporate growth objectives.
  • Develop and execute long-term sales strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Oversee offer processes, tender participation, and contract coordination.
  • Track performance indicators and take action to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and business partners.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery.
  • Mentor and inspire high-performing teams focused on results, motivation, and innovation.
