As we scale our global footprint, we are looking for a high-energy, articulate Business Development Assistant to join our growth team. This is not a cold-calling role; it is a strategic position focused on digital lead generation, proposal architecture, and international marketplace management.

The Role

Working directly with the Founder and Senior Leadership, you will be the engine room of our sales pipeline. Your primary objective is to identify high-value opportunities on global platforms and craft compelling narratives that convert prospects into long-term partners. This role offers an unparalleled fast track into the world of International SaaS and Service Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Outreach: Identify and apply for relevant RFPs (Request for Proposals) on Upwork, LinkedIn ProFinder, and Freelancer.com.
  • Proposal Engineering: Draft and customize high-converting proposals that address specific client pain points in the accounting and bookkeeping space.
  • Lead Prospecting: Utilize LinkedIn and digital tools to research and identify potential B2B clients within the Australian and NZ markets.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain and update the CRM (HubSpot/ClickUp), ensuring all leads, follow-ups, and conversions are meticulously tracked.
  • Scheduling: Coordinate discovery calls and manage the sales calendar for senior leadership.
  • Performance Tracking: Monitor conversion rates and provide weekly reports on lead generation KPIs.
  • Sales Assets: Assist in creating and updating pitch decks, service brochures, and introductory email sequences.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing competitor analysis to ensure Accounts Automated remains at the forefront of the outsourcing industry.
  • Brand Support: Coordinate basic social media updates and content distribution to maintain a professional digital presence.

Candidate Profile

  • Education: BBA or MBA from a reputable institution (Marketing or Accounting majors preferred).
  • Communication: Native-level command of written and spoken English. You must be able to write with "Australian nuance"; professional yet accessible.
  • Technical Aptitude: Proficient in Google Workspace/MS Office. Familiarity with Canva, HubSpot, or ClickUp is a significant advantage.
  • Mindset: You must be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working under minimal supervision.
