The Banyan Infotech is seeking an experienced Business Development Associate with a proven background in acquiring clients for software solutions including Websites, Digital Marketing Services, CRM, and ERP systems. This role is strictly for candidates with hands-on experience in software and IT service sales.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, approach, and acquire new clients for web development, digital marketing, CRM, and ERP solutions
- Generate leads through cold calling, networking, referrals, and digital channels
- Understand client business requirements and propose suitable software solutions
- Conduct product presentations, demos, and client meetings
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and close deals
- Maintain and update sales pipelines using CRM tools
- Coordinate with technical and delivery teams for smooth project handover
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Track sales performance and achieve monthly and quarterly targets
Mandatory Requirements
- 1–3 years of proven experience in software/IT services business development
- Strong exposure to selling Websites, Digital Marketing services, CRM, and ERP solutions
- Experience in client acquisition, lead conversion, and deal closure
- Good understanding of software development life cycle and digital solutions
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and meet targets
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with B2B clients
- Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting
- Experience in proposal writing and pricing models
- Knowledge of IT service contracts and SLAs
