Introduction
This position is a hybrid, field-based role requiring residency within the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill (Triangle) metro area. The role supports an assigned local territory with frequent in-person engagement.
The Business Development Associate is responsible for building and growing service-based relationships between Raleigh Radiology and referring physicians, clinical partners, and community stakeholders. This includes driving awareness of imaging services, supporting referral workflows and technology, and optimizing client engagement and patient access.
This position reports to the Executive Director of Strategic Growth and is part of the Growth team (Business Development & Marketing).
Key Responsibilities:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATION, LICENSURE
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, healthcare, or related field required. Clinical background (e.g., radiology, nursing, or similar discipline) a plus.
Experience: 2–4 years of business development, marketing, or account management experience. B2B healthcare sales experience is a plus. Proven experience in referral development and relationship management. Experience supporting outpatient services or imaging strongly preferred. Demonstrated success in executing growth strategies and achieving performance targets. CRM experience a plus.
Certification: None required
Licensure: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record required. Current auto insurance requirements. Must reside within the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill (Triangle) metro area
