Summary

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to expand our commercial, contractor, and kitchen & bath dealer networks. This role is key to driving growth by acquiring new accounts, fostering long-term client relationships, and representing Tops at industry events. If you thrive on building relationships, spotting opportunities, and closing deals, this is a strong career growth opportunity.

Compensation

  • Base salary of $55,000–$70,000 depending on experience
  • Monthly bonus opportunities tied to account growth and sales performance
  • Company vehicle
  • Expected first-year earnings of approximately $65,000–$90,000+

Responsibilities

  • Develop new business with contractors, builders, designers, and dealers in residential and commercial markets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing accounts.
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and company-sponsored activities (roughly 2 per month; flexible work schedule is an option).
  • Research market trends and competitors to identify opportunities.
  • Deliver presentations and proposals to clients to showcase Tops’ products and value.
  • Collaborate with marketing and operations to ensure client needs are met.
  • Track leads, pipeline, and performance using CRM software.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activity and results.

Qualifications

  • Passion for business development or sales roles.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Comfortable attending networking events and engaging with industry professionals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other modern software tools.
  • Self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Local travel throughout the South Puget Sound region for client meetings and industry events.
