Job Summary
We are looking for a pro-active, sharp, and target-driven Consultant to promote and sell Solar Energy Solutions and Home Automation Systems. The role focuses on client acquisition, solution selling, and deal closure, requiring strong communication, persuasion, and business understanding rather than an engineering background.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Business Development
- Identify, approach, and convert potential clients for solar systems and home automation solutions.
- Handle walk-in, inbound, and field leads professionally.
- Actively generate new business through cold calling, referrals, and networking.
- Conduct site visits (when required) to understand client needs.
Client Consultation & Solution Selling
- Understand customer requirements, budget, and usage patterns.
- Present suitable solar and automation solutions in simple, customer-friendly language.
- Explain product features, benefits, ROI, and energy savings clearly.
- Coordinate with technical teams for system sizing, layouts, and proposals.
Quotation, Negotiation & Closure
- Prepare quotations and proposals in coordination with the technical team.
- Negotiate pricing and close deals within approved margins.
- Ensure advance payments, documentation, and order confirmation.
Follow-Ups & CRM Management
- Maintain regular follow-ups to improve conversion ratios.
- Update leads, client details, and sales stages in CRM.
- Maintain accurate records of meetings, calls, and site visits.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports.
After-Sales Coordination
- Coordinate with installation and technical teams for smooth execution.
- Keep clients informed about project timelines and progress.
- Ensure customer satisfaction and post-installation support coordination.
Required Skills & CompetenciesSales & Business Skills
- Strong sales, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts (training will be provided).
- Business-oriented mindset with focus on ROI and value selling.
- Confidence in presenting solutions to residential and commercial clients.

Qualifications
- Engineering degree is NOT mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Commerce, or related fields preferred.
- Diploma holders with strong sales experience are welcome.
Experience
- 2–5 years of sales experience (solar, home automation, electrical, or related industry preferred).
- Experience in B2C or B2B solution selling is a plus.
