Business Development Director

Role Overview

We are seeking a driven and strategic Director of Business Development to spearhead growth initiatives in the Employer of Record (EOR) and global expansion space. This individual contributor role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in consultative sales environments and is passionate about helping companies scale internationally.

Key Responsibilities

Market Development

    Identify and pursue new business opportunities across target markets.

    Build and manage a robust pipeline of prospects interested in EOR, global payroll, and international entity setup.

    Conduct market research to inform outreach strategies and positioning.

    Client Engagement

      Lead discovery calls, solution presentations, and proposal development.

      Serve as a trusted advisor to clients navigating international hiring and compliance challenges.

      Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.

      Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.

      Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to contract negotiation and closure.

      Maintain accurate records in CRM and provide regular reporting on pipeline health and performance


      Sales Execution

      Strategic Collaboration

      Partner with marketing to refine messaging and campaign strategies.

      Provide feedback to product and operations teams based on client needs and market trends.

      Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and networking forums.

      Qualifications

      • Proven track record in business development or enterprise sales, ideally in HR tech, SaaS, or global mobility.
      • Strong understanding of EOR, global payroll, and international compliance.
      • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
      • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

      Preferred Experience

      • Experience selling to HR, finance, or legal stakeholders.
      • Familiarity with international labor laws and cross-border employment.
      • Multilingual or multicultural experience is a plus.
