Business Development Director - Software Solutions (Based in Cairo, Egypt)

Visionary Leader to Drive Growth Across MENA

We are seeking an ambitious, results-driven Business Development Director to spearhead our strategic expansion and revenue growth initiatives from our new Cairo office. This pivotal role demands a visionary executive with a verifiable track record in the B2B technology sector, capable of leading complex, high-value sales engagements across our diverse software portfolio: ERP systems, mobile applications, websites, and custom software development.


The ideal candidate will not only execute but also formulate the entire business development strategy for the Egyptian and broader North African market, aligning directly with our Saudi headquarters’ long-term goals.


Core Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & P&L: Develop and own the comprehensive business development strategy for the region, focusing on driving profitable, sustainable revenue growth.
  • Market Penetration: Identify, pursue, and secure high-value new business opportunities, strategic alliances, and partnerships to rapidly expand market presence in Egypt.
  • Executive Sales: Oversee and personally manage the entire sales cycle for strategic, enterprise-level deals, from qualification and proposal development to negotiation and closure.
  • Leadership: Provide clear strategic direction and mentorship to the regional sales and business development teams, fostering a high-performance, results-oriented culture.
  • Cross-Functional Alignment: Work closely with the HQ leadership, Technical, and Delivery teams to ensure market strategies meet client needs and product capabilities.


What You'll Bring:

  • Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in B2B software, technology, or IT services, including at least 4 years in a Director-level/executive leadership role.
  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in driving significant revenue growth, closing strategic enterprise partnerships, and expanding into new markets.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep, functional understanding of ERP systems, mobile applications, web development, and custom software markets.
  • Communication: Exceptional negotiation, influencing, and presentation skills (Arabic and English fluency is highly desirable).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a strong advantage.


Location : Must be willing to work from Cairo, Egypt.
